Communication challenges faced by Libyan students in Indonesia

Communication issue becomes one of the phenomena commonly observed among foreign students, including those studying in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze communication challenges faced by Libyan students Yogyakarta and their adjustment face challenges. The data were from at a number universities Yogyakarta, collected through questionnaire, which was designed elicit qualitative descriptive replies. questionnaire consists 5 short essays yes/no questions related students’ experiences. research participants 15 male overseas aged 21 35 years who joined voluntarily this study. findings show that competence Bahasa Indonesia there are two main difficulties encountered: issues with local people due language used most gap between students' professors' competency during learning activities. Moreover, other stem varying academic workloads, teaching techniques, assessment systems compel international as team despite some them lacking ability fluently communicate using English.
